Development Information:
Success Skills Campaign	The Chamber has worked for over a year researching Acadiana's workforce issue and now offers a solution. In many instances, the workforce does not have the soft skills required for employment. Thus, Workforce Division volunteers developed a list of behavior traits for employment called “Success Skills.” A one page poster and a business card handout, listing these traits, have been designed and distributed to Acadiana's future employees through area high schools.
Current Issues	Currently Workforce Development is one of the hottest topics and highest priorities throughout the state. Find out what's happening in our area.
Workforce Development Resources	Learn more about local workforce development services that are devoted to bridging the gap between job seekers and employers.
Learn about Internships	The Chamber maintains its focus on improving the quality of the workforce by supporting efforts of the public school system, community college, technical college and university. Learn how you can be a part of preparing the workforce of the future.
Training	Finding qualified and trained applicants in a tight labor market can be challenging. The Chamber has identified resources to help train new employees and keep existing workers up to date with the skill sets needed to make your business viable.
Post Jobs/ Search Resumés	The Chamber has identified public and private resources that will help your business recruit qualified applicants to fill open positions within your organization.
Labor Market Information	Labor market information is vital for companies. Having the correct data will allow your business to be aware of conditions that affect recruitment and retention.
